Technical Data

Processing:
Overlay foil: Roll-to-sheet
Core foils: Sheet-to-sheet
Throughput*:
approx. 400 sets/hour
Accuracy:
+/- 0.15 mm
Max. sheet size:
L x W = 750 x 700 mm
El. power supply:
400/3 V ; 50 Hz ; 5 kVA
Compressed air requirements:
approx. 400 sets/hour

*up to 600 sets/h with optional automatic core feeder

The machine is for the collation of the various sheets of which a set is made. In the basic version the core foils are collated manually with the help of a collating table in front of the machine. This table is equipped with tack welding heads and pins to register the cores by edges. Once a core set is completed, the operator starts the remaining process by means of a foot switch activating the tack-welding. After this the core set is transferred automatically into the machine. Here the alignment referring to the overlayfoil is executed automatically. Meanwhile the operator is to collate the next set. After alignment the pre-tacked core set is also spot-welded to the overlayfoils and brought forward to the cutting station, where the sets are cut and stacked on to a trolley ready for lamination. The machine is available with an automatic core feeder as well. Depending on the customer requirements, core feeders from 1 to to 3 core foils are available.

Technical Data

Throughput:
120 - 150 sets/hour
Dimensions of table:
ca. 650 x 650 mm
El. power supply:
220 V ; 50 Hz ; ca. 0.4 kVA
Compressed air requirements:
6 bar input pressure

This device is for the manual collation of the various layers of a set before lamination. It is equipped with 2 (standard) or max. 4 welding heads (optional). The welding heads are adjustable with regard to the welding temperature and the welding time being defined by the amount and the thickness of the layers as well as by the material which is to be processed. After completion of a set the tacking process is activated by means of a foot switch.

The alignment is carried out by the edges of the foils supported by alignment pins fixed at the table.

Special devices are available, for example to register by means of printmarks or tables arranged as twintables. The tables can be equipped with a thickness measuring device if required.
