The LHS 19 is a single headed
machine for the application of holograms, signature
panels and other hot stamping applications.
In its standard configuration
the machine is equipped with a stationary card stacker
out of which the cards are separated and transferred
into guide rails. The cards are conveyed underneath
the application head, where the stamping process takes
place by means of an appropriate stamping die. The processed
cards are brought out on a conveying belt in a fan-like
way. This enables the operator to carry out a first
quality check and, if needed, to take one card away
without problems for a closer check. It makes it also
very easy to discharge the cards from the belt. All
processing parameters incl. throughput are adjustable.

The LHS 29 is the double headed
variant and equipped with the same card handling devices
as the other LHS-machines. This machine allows to apply
2 hotstamping applications in one path either one application
on each side of the card or two applications on side
of the card. This can be arranged by means of the integrated
flipper-station which can be deactivated in case both
applications are to applied on one side of the card
only. The LHS 29 is available as a "Twin Feed" version,
if high throughput and only one application on a card
is demanded from time to time. In this case the output
belt is replaced by a second feeder and fixed to the
middle of the machine together with another output-belt
for the first station. Both heads operate independent
from each other now and the throughput can be doubled.

This machine is equipped with
three application heads, if a customer for example requires
to have 2 applications on one side and 1 application
on the other side of a card. The working principle and
the standard features are the same as for the other
machines.

HIS:
Automatic inspection system for
holograms and signature panels. A camera takes a picture
of the hologram and/or the signature panel and a PC
is evaluating the application according to a previous
made set-up with all relevant quality parameters and
set tolerances. The system is able to check the completeness
of the application, flakes, scratches, the position
of the hologram foil with regard to the card edges and
the position of the hologram itself with regard to hologram-foil
edges. Rejected cards are transferred onto a separate
conveyor belt for reject cards.
Magazine changer:
A magazine changer can be installed
at the infeed and the outfeed. This enables the customer
to use the LOUDA-standard magazines and thus to save
time for loading and discharging of the machine.
