The laminating presses series
LP are originally developed for the lamination of RFID-cards
and other cards with a sensitive and / or highest quality
surface. The press is working according to the single
stack principle; i.e. pressing and cooling down is executed
in a single station in order to avoid any distortions
or other damages which may occur after releasing the
pressing force before cooling. The machine is also equipped
with a "soft-touch" device in order to avoid any impact
on to the sheets which may cause damages. In order to
have the same pressure in every daylight, the machines
have a weight compensation for the upper cassettes avoiding
a pressure increase on the lower cassettes due to weight
addition of the upper cassettes and heating plates.
Each heating plate is equipped with two heating circuits
for an even heating. Five hydraulic pressing cylinders
guarantee for a constant pressure across the area of
the pressing plates.
An automatic magazine handling
system allows the operator to fill the cassettes and
to transfer them into the feeding station of the machine
while the former lot is processed. Once one cycle is
finished, the cassettes are conveyed automatically to
the discharge station, where the cassettes are to be
taken out of the machine. After that, the prepared cassettes
are transferred into the pressing station automatically.

space is an issue and / or no big volumes are to be

The automatic laminator C-port
8A is used for a production of both contact and contactless
cards. The machine is designed with independent heating
and cooling press, thus avoiding costly heating up and
cooling down of the same plates during lamination process.
It not only saves a lot of energy but also reduces the
cycle time.
The heating press is heated with termal oil, which offers
a much better temperature distribution then electric
heated plates. The cooling press is cooled down through
a closed-circuit cooling water system.
Both the heating press and the cooling press are equipped
with multi hydraulic cylinders. The individual control
